Ellie Lochhead

I am a PhD student in public policy at the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Doctoral Research Fellow at the NYU Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy.

My research interests are in housing policy and urban economics with a particular focus on understanding policy responses that can alleviate housing challenges faced by the lowest-income renters in New York City and across the country. 

Prior to NYU, I earned an M.S. in Economics and Urban Planning from Tufts University and a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Denver.
